Welcome to the openID-center

By opening the openID-center at the Institute for Material Flow and Logistics in 2004 a development and test environment for manufacturer-independent use of RFID technology in logistic applications is available.

The openID-center is an open integration platform, in which manufacturers of hardware components as well as software developers interact in a direct dialogue, to present material flow systems by the use of RFID technology.

Das Thema 'Internet der Dinge' steht 2010 im Fokus der Forschung im openID-center. Darunter sammeln sich alle Aktivitäten die sich den Themen Dezentralität, Selbststeuerung, Intelligenz, uvm. widmen. Mit dem Logo 'openID-center Internet der Dinge' werden die Kompetenzen und Forschungsergebnisse aus den einzelnen Projekten unter dem Dach des openID-center am Fraunhofer IML gebündelt.
